MASTERY To Release New EP This Week

Toronto's speed/thrash metal band MASTERY have inked a deal with Picture Black Music. The group's new EP will be released on July 30. An MP3 of the track "Powerrace" can be downloaded at this location.

MASTERY, who feature in their ranks Markus Armellini and Jeff Dormer on guitars, newcomer Anthony Ristovskion bass, and Kevan Roy on drums, are an instrumental band which started out in Toronto playing with such groups as ANVIL and GOAT HORN. Upcoming tour dates include a support slot with POWERMAN 5000 at Big E's Beach Club in Wisconsin on August 12. From there, the band will travel to Philadelphia to perform with INSATANITY at the SpeakEasy on August 20 before continuing on to Illinois to play Armageddon 2005 in Barrington.
